July 28, 2026 — Xaar has appointed Colordyne Technologies as the official distributor for the Xaar Versatex Printbar in North America.
The collaboration brings together Xaar’s printbar innovation and Colordyne Technologies’ expertise in inkjet integration and application development. It also builds on Colordyne Technologies’ existing portfolio of retrofit full color digital engines, adding the Versatex Printbar to its offering for converters looking to introduce digital capability to existing analogue presses, finishing lines and converting equipment.
Designed for turnkey inline integration, the Versatex Printbar gives converters a flexible path to add premium digital effects and functional print capability without replacing existing production assets. Available in varnish, white and variable data black options, it drives value added applications including spot varnish, high-build gloss, matte textures, cold foil, high-opacity white, braille, black variable data, and personalization.
Colordyne has spent more than a decade helping converters and brands integrate inkjet technology into real production environments. The Versatex Printbar is a strong addition to our portfolio because it aligns directly with our retrofit-first approach. It gives customers a practical way to add digital embellishment, high-build effects and variable print capability to equipment they already own, while creating new value in labels, packaging and specialty applications.

Colordyne brings deep knowledge of inkjet integration, application development, and converter support. Together, we can help customers unlock new creative, commercial, and operational opportunities with digital embellishment and printbar technology, while making it easier for North American converters to adopt digital capability within their existing operations.
Colordyne will showcase the Xaar Versatex Printbar at LOUPE 2026, North America’s largest dedicated label and package printing event, giving label producers, converters and brands the opportunity to see the technology up close on booth 6019 and explore how digital embellishment and functional print capability can be integrated into existing production environments.
In addition, as part of the go-to-market strategy, Colordyne plans to develop sales, service, demonstration and sampling capabilities for the Versatex Printbar at its Brookfield, Wisconsin, facility. Both companies also intend to support market awareness through demonstrations, customer engagement, open house events, and industry exhibitions.
Founded in 2010, Colordyne Technologies designs, manufactures, and integrates high-speed inkjet solutions for label, packaging, commercial print, and industrial applications. By combining Xaar’s printbar technology with Colordyne’s regional market presence and application expertise, the partnership aims to make digital embellishment and specialty print capability more accessible to label and packaging producers across North America.
