Colordyne’s Full Line-Up of Digital Print Solutions at PACK EXPO Las VegasDave Krogle
Colordyne Technologies, the leader in digital printing solutions powered by Memjet technology, brings their industry insight and imagination to PACK EXPO 2015, Sept. 28-30, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Colordyne’s booth #S-6469 will serve as a workshop and demonstration center for attendees to learn how Colordyne can streamline business workflow, and show companies how to become leaders in production efficiency and flexibility in their respective markets. Colordyne’s complete digital printing solutions portfolio will be on display with live demonstrations of the Production Class 3600 Series Sprint and the Commercial Class 2600 Series Mini Press.
The 3600 Series Sprint is an entry level, roll-to-roll printing system capable of printing full-bleed on die-cut media or on continuous rolls of media giving operators the option to use label applicator equipment or complete the job offline on existing web finishing systems. The 3600 Series is capable of printing speeds up to 335 feet per minute (102 m/min) at print resolution 1600 x 1375 dpi. New to the 3600 Series this year is Colordyne’s instant order change software, providing users with the ability to change die shape on-the-fly without stopping production, significantly reducing operator intervention and waste.
“Colordyne is committed to providing continuous innovation,” said Taylor Buckthorpe, director of marketing, Colordyne. “We engage our customers and are constantly looking to improve the overall user experience. Our dedication to customers results in higher productivity and profitability for them.” The 3600 Series provides the latest in Memjet technology, along with a proven closed loop tension control technology, and is available with a complete list of modular finishing options.
New to PACK EXPO is the Commercial Class 2600 Series Mini Press. Launched in May, the 2600 Series Mini Press is targeted for label converters, private label manufacturers and brand owners alike who are looking for an out-of-the-box roll-to-roll digital printing solution to handle the ever-growing consumer demand for short run digital labels and packaging. Colordyne will demonstrate the Mini Press’s easy-to-use control software and self-predicative printhead maintenance, all while producing high quality labels and packaging at 60 feet per minute (18 m/min) at an industry leading 1600 x 1600 dpi print resolution.
“It is an increasingly exciting time for Colordyne since the debut of the 2600 Series, and we look forward to sharing the excitement with PACK EXPO attendees,” Buckthorpe said. “Our focus at PACK EXPO is educating companies of all shapes and sizes on how our digital printing solutions can be the catalyst they need to transform their business to be more responsive to the changing demands of the new modern day consumer.”
Colordyne strives to provide continuous innovation, flexibility, service and support to ensure its customers a responsive, long-term investment in digital color printing.
