Colordyne Technologies Sponsors the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life to be held at UWMDave Krogle
Colordyne Technologies will be a presenting sponsor of the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee scheduled for April 2nd. The Disney-themed event will be held at the Klotsche Center on the university’s campus starting at 4 pm. This is the third consecutive year that Colordyne will be a presenting sponsor. The $5000 donation was presented to Ashley Matter, Vice President on the Planning Committee of the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life chapter at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where Ashley is currently in her junior year of studies.
“Many of the employees, including myself, have close family and friends that have been impacted by cancer. And last year, Relay for Life at UWM raised over $30,000,” Andrew Matter, Ashley’s father and Vice President of Colordyne Technologies said. “Each year they have continued to grow this event and raise more for this very important cause. We wanted to continue to support their efforts.
“I was inspired to join and lead UWM’s American Cancer Society Relay for Life program since my Dad and my grandparents are cancer survivors. It has affected my life significantly. We appreciate the on-going support from Colordyne Technologies,” Ashley Matter said. UWM’s Relay for Life has raised over $23,000 prior to the start of the event. There will be 49 teams participating and 279 participants engaged in the event.
